When her friend told her that she was one of the topnotchers of the September 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers, Diadem Faith Congson, 20, thought it was a prank.

Aside from Congson, two Cebu-based graduates also topped the LET’s Elementary Level exams.

Anthony Geromo of the Cebu Technological University (CTU) Moalboal Campus ranked second, while Allan Mainit of CNU ranked fifth in the LET’s Elementary Level exams.

In an interview, Congson told SunStar Cebu that she dedicated her victory to her parents.

Congson is the eldest of three siblings from Mandaue City.

Her father is a construction materials delivery man while her mother is a housewife.
