A NEW MOOON RISES IN BONIFACIO DISTRICT MALL
Dining in Mooon Cafe, one instantly feels like he is about to partake of a Mexican fiesta. With its decorative orange walls, the sombreros, colorful tiles, along with its Mexican-inspired dishes, it’s no surprise that after all these years, it still is one of the city’s go-to places.
Mooon recently revamped its look as seen in its newest branch located at lifestyle strip Bonifacio District along F. Cabahug St., Cebu City, and it’s been made even more festive. It still has that signature vibe, of course, but spruced up with elements making for a picture- perfect setting. The newest Mooon opened in November and carries the new image of the brand—something one can look forward to in the rest of the branches.
Stepping in, one can see whitewashed walls paired with wooden fixtures as well as creative elements like the chandelier made up of beer bottles, the colorful mural done by artist Daot Tado, and of course, the eye-catching “Celebrar” signage. One can’t miss it. Maybe one should take a cue and celebrate?
Along with the revamp, new dishes are also in play. These are also available in other Mooon Cafe branches in the
city. There’s the Ole Guacamole Nacho Chips, Taco Spaghetti and Cheesy Ribs, to name a few. Apart from these, there are four sets which include dishes like the Mooon steak, Mexican baby back ribs and other favorites catering to groups of four or five.
With the new face and the new dishes, Mooon Cafe gives its patrons more reasons to dine with friends, family all in a place filled with modern familiarity.
Check out the new look at the Bonifacio District branch. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 12 midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every Sunday to Thursday. This branch seats 70-80 people and has acoustic nights every Saturday. /
