CLOONEYS GAVE CO-PASSENGERS HEADPHONES
George and Amal Clooney are quite the considerate airplane passengers when they decided to hand out headphones to fellow passengers on a recent flight to England. They apologetically did so because they were accompanied by their six-month-old twins Ella and Alexander Clooney.
According to Page Six, the device had a logo of Casamigos Tequila, the liquor brand George founded with Rande Gerber, the husband of supermodel Cindy Crawford. It also carried the note: “Apologizing ahead of time...”
A source said Quentin Tarantino was on the same flight and wore the headphones. But a source said, “The babies didn’t make a peep.”
The 56-year-old actor and 39-year-old lawyer became firsttime parents last June.
Meanwhile, Gerber, during an interview, revealed that Clooney once gifted his friends—him included—$1 million and even paid for the tax on the funds.
“There’s a group of guys we call ‘The Boys,’” Gerber told the show “Headliners.”
“George had called me and ‘The Boys’ and said, ‘Hey, mark September 27th, 2013, on your calendar. Everyone’s going to come to my house for dinner.”
And when the boys arrived at George’s place, there was already black designer luggage for each of them.
“George begins to say, ‘Listen, I want you guys to know how much you’ve meant to me and how much you mean in my life,’” Mr. Cindy Crawford said. “‘I came to L.A., I slept on your couch. I’m so fortunate in my life to have all of you and I couldn’t be where I am today without all of you. So, it was really important to me that while we’re still all here together, that I give back. SO I want you all to open your suitcases.’”
“Every one of us — 14 of us — got a million dollars. Every single one of us,” he continued. “We’re in shock. Like, what is this?” Gerber added.
Some members of “The Boys” were living paycheck to paycheck.
