Mandaue City brings to life once again the meeting of the Holy Family in Panagtagbo Festival 2018.

From Jan. 12 to 19, Mandaue streets will come alive for the annual festival. The Panagtagbo Festival aims to showcase Mandaue’s rich history and equally vibrant culture and people.

The Panagtagbo is the reenactment of the meeting of the Holy Family.

“The festival was created to deepen our faith in God and the Holy Family and pay homage to our patron saint,” said overall program chairperson Bruce Bollozos during the launch last Dec. 22 at Maayo Hotel.

Exciting activities are in store for the public at this eight-day celebration. One may indulge in proudly Mandauehanon products at the Panagtagbo Food, Beverage and Lifestyle Night Festival on Zamora St., starting at 5 p.m.

From Jan. 12 to 22, there will be a Sagrada Familia Exhibit at Parkmall. One may visit the exhibit during mall hours.

Jan. 19 is the day of the much-anticipated Panagtagbo Street Dancing Competition, which will go through Tipolo, Guizo and P. Burgos Streets from 3 to 5:30 p.m.

That night will be the Panagtagbo and Festival Queen Showdown at the Sports Complex starting at 8 p.m.

This is the first year the festival will feature the Food, Beverage and Lifestyle Night Festival and Festival Queen.
