Gay is divine
Iplanned to write a book that would favorably endorse same-sex marriage. Its title was, “A Time for Same-Sex Marriage.” I had encoded the handwritten manuscript but the computer broke down after I finished encoding it. I lost the manuscript, although I retained some of my handwritten notes. Maybe God does not allow it to be written or published.
In my review of my notes, I found out that God is just, fair and merciful and full of compassion, pity, love and faithfulness. Lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBTs) are also God’s creations. Otherwise, he won’t allow them to be born. Even before the bible was printed or before the birth of Jesus, there were already gays who were brilliant and talented. To name a few: Socrates, Plato and Alexander the Great.
There were, however, no biblical restrictions with respect to female-to-female relations. So Jake Zyrus and the “L” have no biblical obstacles to their romance.
J. Edgar Hoover, the long-time Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director was rumored to be gay. He was ashamed to admit in public his true sexual orientation. He was blackmailed by organized crime syndicates, so he was not able to effectively fight criminality. But he could have said, “So what if I am gay? I have the authority to enforce the law.”
To the gays, I say, be proud to be gay because you have god-like quality.
The Son of God, while preaching in Jerusalem and nearby towns with his 12 disciples, allwed it to be written that he loved a special disciple. Did he not love all 12 disciples equally? I invite the readers to read the following biblical verses (either the Catholic Bible or the King James version): John 13:23, John 19:26, John 20:2, and John 21:20. Understand the implications of these verses.
Jesus said, “The truth shall set you free.” You have to accept and admit the truth about yourself so that you will be free first and foremost from hypocrisy. Because if you keep on hiding, you cannot be whole. You continue to be half-self or double-self.
I wrote this because I have two gay brothers whom I desire to please. Of course, the whole LGBT community will be pleased, too. On my part, I am just loving my neighbors as myself. Too many potholes
Have you observed our streets? It’s not only in Cebu City but also in other cities and towns especially in the Metro Cebu area. It looks like the continuous raining not only flooded our streets but it also destroyed our roads, especially those that are paved with asphalt.
People who are mostly suffering from this are the drivers. If they are not careful, their vehicles could hit big holes and suffer damage. Or it could cause injuries. It could also slow down traffic because drivers have to evade the potholes.
When will the concerned governments attend to this problem? They should start repair works. Or they can build more roads that are made of concrete.-- Martin S. Rosal, Cebu City
