With its wide portfolio of products from electronic cash registers, security and automation systems as well as office machines, Datche continues to be the reliable source for safety, connectivity and security needs. Its main office is located here in Cebu City and has branches located in Manila, Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro, to name a few.
Celebrating a milestone, success and celebrating family, Datche held a gala last Dec. 21 titled Red Gala: Datche’s 40th Anniversary Celebration. The night started off with a dance number by Dream Catchers followed by welcome remarks by Mark Bryan Tan, vice president for sales (security and automation systems division) of Datche, as well as launching of the corporate AVP presented by May Marie Tan-Go, vice president for finance.
Datche president and chief executive officer Charlie Tan, after his speech, was surprised by his grandchildren with a cake: a replica of Sanyo Electronic Cash Register 635, the most popular cash register during the ‘70s.
Special awards were given that night as well as prizes. One other memorable part of that night was when the whole Datche family sang together the song, “If We Hold On Together.” Overall, it was an intimate feast filled with cocktails, food, games, fond momories, entertainment and appreciation, of its partners and employees who have been a part of the journey.
