■ LOVE GARDEN, VALENTINE DINING AT THE AYALA CENTER

The Golden Prince Hotel, Ayala Center Cebu and The Outlets whip up a Valentine’s Day treat and a Lunar Day celebration at the Garden Area until Feb. 18. The “Love Garden” features a showcase of flowers, ornamental plants, gift items and trinkets. Mall goers can also dine at the mall’s Level 4 garden area with accompanying serenades from Tuesday to Thursday at 6 p.m.

With the back-to-back celebrations of Valentine’s Day and the Lunar New Year, it’s going to be a festive February at Ayala Center Cebu.

Ongoing until Feb. 18, one may delight in the beauty of nature at the Garden Area with Love Blooms, where mallgoers will enjoy a dazzling pop-up exhibit of flowers, succulents and ornamental plants, and floral arrangements to give to one’s Valentine.

If flowers aren’t her (or his!) thing, unique trinkets and classic valentine gifts will be on display at the Love Garden. They could drop by The Gallery from today until Feb. 18 and find the perfect gift for all loved ones.

One may listen to all-time favorite love songs, played live as people dine at the mall’s Level 4 garden area with Love Serenades from Tuesday to Thursday at 6 p.m.

Then wrap up the Valentine week with proudly homegrown talent at the Aya’Love Concert on Saturday at 6 p.m. at The Terraces, featuring the city’s favorite bands and musicians.

Mallgoers can then usher in the Year of the Dog as Ayala Center Cebu celebrates the Chinese New Year with Drumbeats & Dragons, the traditional lion and dragon dance around the mall on Friday.
