CHRIS BRANDON GO
At first glance, Chris is the quintessential boy next door— charming and armed with a seemingly coy smile matched with dimples that will leave anyone smitten. But the 24-yearold entrepreneur is more than just his genes.
As young as he is, Chris is no stranger to work and responsibility. Roughly three years ago, he opened a laundry shop, his first business. Currently, he also owns a water refilling station and a liempo joint, while still finding time to be a financial consultant for an insurance company on the side. All of a sudden, the word “hardworking” seems like an understatement.
His knack for business was assumed from his grandparents, who served as as his mentors. “I will always be grateful for my family and friends who have always supported me and my endeavors.”
For him, being a businessman is more than just making a living. “I want to help the people in my community by creating jobs for them through my businesses.”
Chris hopes to get married by 28. “Simple and kind,” he describes his ideal life partner. “Someone who also loves adventures and shares my hobbies and interests,” he adds.
In his spare time, Chris loves being in the great outdoors— trekking, mountain climbing. A budding philanthropist, he enjoys volunteering for charities, as well as being involved in relief operations for calamities and disasters. In the future, he hopes to start his own foundation, one that aims to help the homeless community here in Cebu.
