WHO IS DANIELLE HERRINGTON?

The 24-year-old model is this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model. She is only the third black woman to grace the cover of the men’s magazine. Tyra Banks was the first African-American to do so in 1996 and 1997, while Beyonce hit the cover in 2007. Banks surprised Danielle Herrington with the news. Herrington started modeling when she was 13. The 5’ 10” model debuted in the New York Fashion Week last September walking for Philipp Plein. She was a psychology major in college.
