SMOOTHIES OR COFFEE? YOU CHOOSE

- PATRICIA MAY P. CATAN / Writer

After major renovation and re-branding, Lé Gab Café, whose name was inspired by French artisan pastries and with Chef Gabriel Garcia as foundation of the café, came back with a fresher identity on Oct. 10, 2017. Now with a renewed direction and a passionate team behind Lé Gab, the café is moving forward through constant innovation for a better customer experience.

Promising a new concept, Lé Gab is no longer just one’s traditional coffee shop but the combination of such with a smoothie and juice bar. “Bake, Brew, Blend & Juice” are the basic building blocks of its menu, meaning the café offers artisan pastries, specialty coffee, healthy smoothies and juices made fresh every day.

Aside from these, the 24-seater café also houses breakfast favorites, smoothie bowls and beverages prepared with a dash of uniqueness in every bite or sip. This quaint and charming café often visited by college students and young professionals hits close to home with familiar flavors and a cozy atmosphere that make for a delightful time.

Just five months after the café re-opened, Lé Gab has been well received by loyal customers.

When it comes to the café’s bestsellers, Lé Gab is specially praised for its Acai Smoothie Bowl and Bacon Breakfast Bowl. Its mango float and cold brew are two of its menu offerings that are also a must-try for frequent or new patrons.

Constantly innovating for customer satisfaction, part of Lé Gab’s promise to its guests is to continuously surprise them with something new and fresh.

“This summer, we’ll be introducing new smoothie bowl flavors, so it’s something that our guests can really look forward to,” owner John Rey Guadalquiver said on what they have in store for the warm season. He added that they will be having more fun contests for more social interactions with customers.

Following the success of its renovation and re-branding, Lé Gab is now the neighborhood coffee shop of choice located at 298 Raintree Mall, F. Ramos St., Cebu City. The café is open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight.
