AEON now in Cebu offering loan plans

Financial inclusion: to provide everyone with financial support. This is AEON Credit Service’s core as a company.

AEON Credit Service (Philippines) Inc. is a subsidiary of AEON Financial Service Co. Ltd. Japan, a company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The Japan-grown company expanded to the Philippines in 2013.

One of its primary services is the installment plans targeted toward un-banked clients and those who do not own credit cards. With AEON, everyone gets the chance to purchase products such as appliances or gadgets at affordable payment schemes such as a no-downpayment installment plan with low interest rates.

Last March 2, AEON opened its Cebu office, the first outside Luzon. The new satellite office will cover the Visayas and Mindanao area.

“We decided to open an office in Cebu because there is a tangible business opportunity here. Our clients also keep telling us to open a branch here,” said president and chief executive officer Takayuki Araki.

AEON’s local partners include Super Metro Hypermarket, SM Appliance Center, Savers Appliances, Robinsons Appliances and Asian Home Appliance.

AEON Credit Service’s new Cebu satellite office is located on the seventh floor of the Globe Tower in Cebu Business Park.
