4 Cebu squads join FOF

Four Cebu Elite teams will start their campaign in the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Festival of Football (FOF) today in San Carlos City.

Cebu is up against selection teams from Negros Oriental and Negros Occidental in the Boys Under-13, Boys Under-15, Girls Under-13 and Girls Under-15 divisions.

The Boys Under-13 squad of Cebu is composed of Joshua Caga-an, Gian Andres Custudio, Joseph Kyne Garces, Joshua Miguel Israel, Alezandro Domecq Ledesma, Nathan Khail Lingatog, John William Oberes, Edgar Paredes III, Carsten Pumareja, John Mehl Rondrique, John Philip Tabar, Joross Clark Tabar and Alexander Villarosa from Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC); John Daniel Betinol and Nicky Apura of Abellana National School (ANS); Mariano Cesar Javier Sian of Paref-Springdale; Cyrus Gil Franco Conol of St. Augustine Internatio­nal School; and John William Oberes of Bohol. The squad is mentored by head coach Ray Calo and assistant coach Ralph Plaza.

The Boys Under-15 team, on the other hand, is comprised of Pio Gerard Antiquina, Enrico Miguel Yap, Richard Osmeña, Zachary Miles Frias, John Andrew Mandawe, Matthew Sebastian Suico, John Michael Rufin and Christian Lumapas of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC); John Michael Candongo, Uriel Villacarlo­s, Kristian Mari Lusoc, Denzel James Abarquez, Richard Jacob Songalia, Vaugn York Pacana, Simon Andrei Del Campo and Kamil Jasper Amirul of DBTC; Stephen John Soria of University of Southern Philippine­s Foundation (USPF); and Ludwig Ryan Badayos of Talisay. The team’s head coach is Epifanio Ynot Jr., while the assistant coach is Elmer Menguito.

Meanwhile, the Girls Under-13 squad is made up of Chasie Mae Garciano, Gwen Estrada, Loraine Doller, Irish Pongasi, Apple Gen Estremos. Alexes Nichole Canada; Edelyn Villaver, Jelena Loren Soon, Celina Beatrice Salazar, Jodi Marie Banzon, Mish Tzishe Castañares, Joshper Halili, Nexah Nacorda, Destiny Empaces, and Louilla Lyka Cueva. Binky Estrada is the head coach, while Marichu Amestoso is her assistant coach.
