ICATS: FREE ASSESSMENT IN CEBU

Cebuanos may attend information session, get physical assessment with the FA school

-

A Manila-based flight attendant (FA) training school is expecting more enrollees from Cebu this summer, following the positive reception of Cebuanos during its pilot training last November.

“It was a challenging yet very successful endeavor for ICATS (International Cabin Attendant Training School),” said Princess Joy Garcia, president and chief executive officer of ICATS.

ICATS brought to Cebu its Connecting Flight Program, an initiative that aims to bring the training school closer to the FA aspirants living in the provinces.

Some 11 aspiring FAs from Cebu joined the first batch of the training program which ended last Nov. 11. ICATS will hold a second training here on May 14.

“The trainees from Cebu are enthusiastic, joyful, energetic and very much open to the teachings, and absorbed them well based on their exam results. Given the limited time for the training, they were able to perform at their optimum, which is a great trait in becoming future aviation professionals,” said Garcia.

ICATS is embarking on an aggressive marketing promotion and training for aspiring FAs to help support the growth of the local and global aviation industry.

After Cebu, ICATS hopes to bring the program to the Ilocos and Cagayan Valley regions.

For full details about the program, one may attend the free information session and physical assessment on April 7, 14 or 21, 1 p.m. at the Bayfront Hotel.

We are considering coming back to Cebu next year with the hope of having a branch in Cebu eventually. PRINCESS JOY GARCIA ICATS president & CEO
