Marco Polo Plaza Cebu launches 3rd Run for Eruf

For three consecutive years now, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu has been holding a run for a cause in support of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (Eruf ). Run for Eruf Year 3 will be on April 29, Sunday.

There will be four distance categories—10K, 5K, 3K and 1K with registration fees of P550 for the 10K run, and P350 for 5K, 3K and 1K run. The 1K distance is made available for families where kids and their grandparents can participate in. This year, we’re making the 1K category even more exciting as it is open to dogs that want to join in on the fun! All proceeds will go to Eruf. Last year’s successful Run for Eruf gathered more than 1,000 runners and turned over P163,000 in support of Eruf’s continuous efforts toward the community.

Assembly time is at 4 a.m. at the hotel tennis court located near the parking lot where gun start will be at 5 a.m. Each participant will get a race kit which includes a singlet, race bib and refreshments which they can claim after the run. Dog’s race kit will include a race bib and a scarf. Finishers in the 10K category will get a finishers’ medal. After the race, awarding will follow with special prizes and cash prizes for the top winners of the 5K and 10K category.

Registration will be at Marco Polo Plaza Hospitality Desk until April 28. One may also register at the ground floor of Ayala Center Cebu Active Zone on all Saturdays and Sundays of April prior to April 29.
