Italy by the garden

Here is a place where one can enjoy no-nonsense Italian dishes within a sophisticated interior, and with a view of the city as a beautiful backdrop.

The new Tavolata in Ayala Center Cebu seats about 42 diners. The rustic and industrial touches make the place elegant and cozy for dining. Serving generous portions of Italian food, the restaurant’s homemade pasta and hand tossed pizzas serve as the core of the trattoria’s menu.

“Tavolata is a trattoria which is a simple Italian restaurant so what we try and do here, much like all our restaurants, is focus on the ingredients instead of making things complicated. We try and get the best ingredients and make them the star of our dish,” shared Chef Patrick Corpuz, The Abaca Group’s director of operations. “What you’ll see in Tavolata is similar to what we have in Design Center of Cebu. But the reason why we want to put it here apart from the gorgeous view is we want to bring Tavolata closer to the masses—basically closer to Cebu,” he said.

Pick from its selection of pastas, salads, hand tossed pizzas with its slow rise dough that’s aged for over 36 hours, as well as side dishes and main dishes perfect for sharing like the Sicilian style broccoli, five mushroom risotto, eggplant parmesan and many more.

Tavolata is located on the fourth level, Garden Area in Ayala Center Cebu.
