Cebu Prov­ince and Com­pre A came out as win­ners in the SBP 3X3 Un­der-18 Pam­bansang Tatluhan af­ter a per­fect fin­ish last Satur­day in the Sis­ters of Mary Boys­town in Minglanilla.

Both win­ners took home a P10,000 cash prize and will rep­re­sent the re­gion in the Na­tional Fi­nals on May 19 and 20 at Robin­sons Place Manila.

Cebu Prov­ince 1 bagged the Boys divi­sion with an 18-10 vic­tory over La­ban­gon 2 in the fi­nals.

Cebu Prov­ince 1 dom­i­nated the group stage with a 10-5 beat­ing of SACS B, an 11-9 win over La­ban­gon 3 and a 8-2 de­mo­li­tion of Abel­lana Na­tional School (ANS).

Cebu Prov­ince 1 walked out with a 17-12 vic­tory over Cebu Elite 1 in the quar­ter­fi­nals be­fore a 12-8 win against ANS 4 in semi­fi­nals.

Cebu Prov­ince 1 is made up of Renzo Do­minik Abines, Juan Raphael Garro, Justin Ati­lano and Khad­shien Paul Ta­ga­log.

La­ban­gon 2 is com­posed of Daryll Ebale, Frankie John Dela Cruz and John Jessi Tangkay.

Mean­while, ANS 4 crushed Man­daue, 11-5, to win third place hon­ors.

Com­pre A, on the other hand, squeaked past Minglanilla A, 9-7, to win the ti­tle in the Girls divi­sion.

Com­pre A fi­nally took home a crown this year af­ter fin­ish­ing first run­ner-up in both the Un­der-17 and Un­der-15 3x3 tour­na­ments. The squad is com­posed of Mary Grace Cog­tas, Shen Ca­may, Mary An­gel Dig­nos and Je­sarine Jhoy Soco.

Com­pre A started its cam­paign with a 5-3 win over City of Naga 2, fol­lowed by an 18-7 beat­ing of Luke Bas­ket­ball B and an 11-2 rout of Minglanilla.
