Following peace talks between North and South Korea, it looks like there will also be peace in the pop music world.

Katy Perry literally sent an olive branch—or maybe they were leaves—to archnemesis Taylor Swift, as the latter revealed in her Instagram story.

Swift started her Reputation Tour Tuesday. She posted a video on her Instagram story showing several stalks of olive and a card addressed to an “old friend.”

“So I just got to my dressing room and found this actual olive branch,” Swift said in her story. “This means so much.”

The note seems hazy but Instagram sleuths from E! read some parts: “Hey, Old Friend. I’ve been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and the feelings between us. I really want to clear the air…”

A part of the note also says, “I’m deeply sorry.”

It seems timely that Perry sent the olive branch since the feud between the two pop stars started because of a tour.

In 2012, Swift embarked on her Red Tour. A couple of Perry’s dancers joined that tour.

According to Perry’s version, she told the dancers to make it clear with Swift’s management that they would leave the Red Tour once the 33-year-old “Swish Swish” singer started her own tour. So when Perry went on her Prism Tour, the dancers left Swift’s.

In the version of the 28-year-old “Delicate” singer, she hinted that Perry sabotaged her tour.

Fans can’t wait for their pop idols to meet in a public event.
