As I mentioned last week, Star Cinema’s latest offering, “Kasal,” is different from past projects because this opted for a title that’s not culled from a hit song. Little did I know that the story is also not the usual treat. It has an unpredictable twist and some comic touches here and there. One line which did not escape the ears of the viewers was uttered by Bea Alonzo.

Are the Dancing Fire Warriors out to prove to the “Pilipinas Got Talent” judges and televiewers that the group deserves to be more than just a semi-finalist? It seems that there is no stopping the group, which is composed of dance artists from the RJT Events and Promotions-Dance Fusion Company All Stars Studio.

The group immediately embarked on another endeavor: the Summer Dance Workshop Recital & Thanksgiving Concert 2018 with World Championship of Performing Arts representatives Raiza and Zdenalie Pagatpatan and many others. The event will be at The Outlets Pueblo Verde tomorrow at 7 p.m.

Another project that had Cebu for a backdrop is the newly started television series of the Kapuso Network, “Inday Will Always Love You.” Although still in its initial week, the series has already received favorable feedback from avid televiewers.
