BREAKFAST ALL DAY AT MR. GRIDDLE
No one can deny a good serving of burgers and chicken especially on days when one just needs a treat because they deserve it.
Serving up both is a restaurant with a homey touch found on the streets of Banilad. The name is Mr. Griddle, simply put because it cooks up its dishes from the griddle. It’s home to those straightforward, budget-friendly greasy favorites with all the trimmings.
Take a pick from its selection of burgers, sandwiches, all-day breakfast choices, meals, fries on the side; then wash it down with a soda, beer or chocolate milk.
It offers choices like the double griddle burger (there’s also one with bacon), buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, buttermilk fried chicken and pancakes or its burger steak dish called loco moco to name a few.
More than its no-nonsense food selections is the restaurant’s look. There are touches of art everywhere both from the exterior and interior. Condiments are within reach, which adds to the charm (it’s the little things that add to the touch). Kids can go up to the counter and ask for coloring materials if they want to, not to mention its outdoor dining area.
Giving off a laid-back impression, the place promises a hangout where not only food is enjoyed but art and music as well as one can expect more exhibits and acoustic nights to take place soon.
