TELEPERFORMANCE CEBU SUPPORTS BRIGADA ESKWELA
Teleperformance Cebu, through the Citizen of the World (COTW), partnered with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) annual school clean-up, Brigada Eskwela, and embarked on rehabilitating several public elementary and secondary schools across the country.
At least 80 volunteer employees and leaders from Teleperformance Cebu Insular and IT Park joined hands to repair and repaint the students’ chairs and tables of the Tiltilon Elementary School, Barangay Cot-cot, Liloan, Cebu where they re-painted students’ chairs and tables.
This is the seventh year that Teleperformance has participated in Brigada Eskwela.
This company-wide effort was made possible through the COTW, the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Teleperformance.
The involvement of Teleperformance employees in the school beautification efforts is born from the company’s initiative to promote the spirit of volunteerism within the organization through COTW, which seeks to increase the awareness and participation of employees in causes that center on children, education, and disaster preparedness and recovery.
Teleperformance Philippines continues to promote employee volunteerism among its 40,000 employees to support the company’s CSR activities, including building houses, planting trees, cleaning rivers, conducting blood donation and relief operations, tending the sick and the elderly, and pursuing other community enrichment programs.
