Over 300 brands of building materials, heavy duty units on display at the exposition

Some 300 brands of building materials, construction equipment, interior products, and cooling solutions are featured in the 9th Philconstruct Visayas and 9th Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Visayas Expo, which opened at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel last Thursday. Guests at the leading construction showcase in the country also got to attend seminars that allowed them to earn Continuing Professional Development points.

The leading construction showcase in the Philippines opened its ninth regional edition in Cebu.

Held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, the 9th Philconstruct Visayas and 9th Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Visayas Expo unveiled more than 300 brands of building materials, construction equipment, interior products and cooling solutions when it opened its doors last Thursday.

The ceremony was attended by some of the biggest names in the industry, including its ambassador Sandra Lemonon, the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 finalist who became the senior communications campaign and media affairs specialist for the “Build, Build, Build” program of the Department of Transportation.

Lemonon was joined by representatives of the Philippine Constructors Association, Cebu Contractors Association, Association of Carriers and Equipment Lessors, Davao Constructors Association Center and the Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air-conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers.

The exposition also showcased more than 50 heavy duty units. Some visitors earned Continuing Professional Development points through the seminars held in partnership with the Construction Manpower Development Foundation.
