Johndorf rakes in P500M from Tierra Nava Carcar

-

Johndorf Ventures Corp. ( JVC) has generated P500 million in sales from 80 percent of townhouses at Tierra Nava.

It equaled the amount it had earmarked to develop the subdivision in Carcar City.

As this developed, the company is set to turn over the first two tranches at the 5.4-hectare subdivision of 655 townhouses at the turn of the quarter, shortly after it inaugurated the model units last May 1.

“We are well within our target to complete the project next year,” said Michele D. Chiu-Bacungan, JVC sales and marketing manager, noting that development works have reached 30 percent.

She was pleased to share that Tierra Nava (New Land) turned out to achieve the company’s objective of providing residents south of the metropolis with better homes in Sitio Dapdap, Poblacion III.

She said half of the buyers were overseas Filipino workers from or with families in Carcar as well as in adjacent towns, while the other half are mostly current residents themselves in the local city.

Bacungan said she feels most of the buyers of the remaining 100 townhouse units will come from the same profile, but added that urban dwellers and migrants could take Tierra Nava as an option for them to live in.

“They may now live in affordable two-storey Asian-themed townhouses away from the hassles and bustles of city life but in the tranquility of countryside living,” she said.

One can own a home at the new Carcar community for P1.2 million through Pag-IBIG with amenities that include a clubhouse, basketball court and landscaped open spaces, she added. /
