A newly opened homegrown Mandaue café offers healthy food and beverages.

Located on the ground floor of City Time Square 2 on Mantawi Drive, Mandaue City, Ethos Café features large indoor space for athletes, sports enthusiast­s, as well as people wanting to unwind while enjoying healthy food and beverages.

“This is not just about organic coffee, fruit shakes, juices and healthy food, but more about being healthy and fit. We like to see Ethos Café establishe­d as a hub for healthy lifestyle,” said owner Ashok Kumar Matthew.

Ethos Café will have regular events for local athletes and health-conscious coffee lovers to share stories about leaving behind an unhealthy lifestyle and working toward a more fulfilling nutritious and athletic lifestyle.

The Ethos Café offers standard espressos like café americano, latte, mocha and cappuccino, as well as healthier selections like green coffee, collagen coffee, ginseng cofCemex fee, mangosteen coffee, tongkat ali coffee and chocolate cacao. It also offers triathlete­s’ frappes: green coffee cookies and cream, collagen with chocolate cacao, mangosteen white chocolate, tongkat ali with coffee jelly and ginseng coffee with peppermint. Other beverage offerings include runners’ fruit shakes and fit and healthy juices with the following flavors: buah merah, guyabano with collagen, prune+acai berry, mangosteen, superfoods and slim glow.

Ethos Café food choices feature breakfast meals like spaghetti sardines and bihon as well as claypot lunch meals including chicken masala and chicken adobo. Dinner meals include chicken adobo, sardines, gizzard masala and spaghetti prawn masala. Named after the owner, a special all-day Ashok breakfast meal features four slices of bread, scrambled egg, a generous serving of spam and brewed coffee.
