BANK FOUNDATION’S CSR PROJECT MAKES DREAMS COME TRUE
At present, the project is supporting 118 scholars who are in elementary, high school and college/ voc-tech schools
Security Bank Foundation Inc. continues to support the education of its agency personnel and their children through its “Regalo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko: Employee Gift-Giving Project (RMKK).”
Launched by the foundation in 2010, the project has benefited a total of 279 scholars, with 139 of them have already graduated.
Currently, the project is supporting 118 scholars who are in elementary, high school and college/ vocational-technical schools.
The project aims to generate funds to support the education of Security Bank’s agency personnel and their children through the help of the bank’s employees and clients.
The foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Security Bank Corp.
Through the support of over 200 individual and employee donors, along with the counterpart contribution from the foundation, the project has been able to support hundreds of scholars since its inception.
One of the project beneficiaries, Joshua Raul M. Manliguez, son of security guard Raul N. Manliguez who has been with Security Bank for more than 20 years, thanked the foundation for supporting his education.
“I would like to say thank you for providing financial assistance to me throughout these years. This scholarship gave me the opportunity to study in a prestigious school. Also, thank you again because you let me experience [how it is] to be a college student [considering that there are also] other persons like me who could not afford to study in college. The scholarship is the main reason why I am one step closer to my dreams and goals. I hope that this Foundation would never stop providing assistance to those people like me who are worthy to study in college so that they can reach their dreams and goals. I will never forget that I was once a scholar of this Foundation. Thank you and God bless,” he said in a handwritten letter.
Security Bank employees and clients are happy to know that their donations have helped brighten the future of the beneficiaries, even with just a minimum donation of P200 per year.
A personnel may also sponsor a child‘s education in elementary, high school or college by donating P4,000, P6,000 or P20,000, respectively.
Donations to the project may be coursed through bank deposit or bills payment to SBFI’s account.
