12 BIFF FIGHTERS KILLED

At least 12 suspected members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) were killed last Sunday during continuous military operations in Shariff Saydona Mustapha in Maguindanao, a military official said yesterday. Captain Arvin Encinas, spokesperson of the 6th infantry division, said the 12 BIFF members were killed by air and artillery shots in Sitios Pandan, Mungkas and Bulod of Barangay Malingao in Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Maguindanao. The military said the troops are continuously gaining advantage over the BIFF bandits.
