EVER HEARD OF A BEAUTY GETAWAY?
There are different ways to relax—getting pampered is one way. There is nothing like it in a sense that for an hour or two, one not only feels like a million bucks; it’s also a way to just shut out the world, take a beat and escape from the daily grind.
Beauty Getaway is one such place in the city built to create a haven where people can get pampered from head to toe and simply take a breather.
The brand was established last year by partners Carlisle Santos and Vanessa Elaine Gajudo who are both registered nurses. Carlisle trained under Dr. Roura of Contours for microblading while Vanessa did her aesthetics training at Canadian Beauty College.
They set up shop in Mabolo, Cebu City offering various services including microblading, facials and beauty drips by appointment basis.
“We decided to merge our services and to start small. We have an extra space in the house which had a separate entrance so we decided to open up a temporary studio there and eventually expand as we add more and more services. After a year we decided to expand,” shared Vanessa.
Presently, its newest home is now located at Maryville Place, corner C. Rosal and Acacia St., Gorordo Ave., Cebu City.
Fashioned like a tropical escape, the beauty clinic is bathed in pastel colors with eye-catching embellishments overall presenting a light and laid-back setting. In a way it also shows the personalities and interests of the two women. “We love to travel and we love the beach,” shared Vanessa. “And at the same time both of us, I think, we’re very chic and we love to pamper ourselves,” said Carlisle. “This is how we would like to welcome people.”
It offers services from facials, lash lift and beauty drips to radiofrequency for face and body, microblading, microshading, laser hair removal as well as nail and foot services. Antioxidant juices are also available. Promising a well-curated selection of services, the place serves as a one-stop shop where patrons can get their needs in one sitting. “Our aim is to have a tropical escape in the heart of the city,” added Carlisle.
Beauty Getaway is open Mondays-Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. It offers packages and caters to private spa parties.
