Bisaya Music Festival this weekend
Cebu music lovers, rejoice! A treat awaits you this weekend as the Bisaya Music Festival gears up to be an event to remember.
Happening on the second day of the uber popular Pop District Bazaar this Sept. 15 to 16, the Bisaya Music Festival gathers some of the best artists in the country with a knack for lyrics written in the Bisaya language. This Fashion, Music, Arts and Lifestyle event will be at Oakridge Pavilion, Mandaue City, Cebu.
(Pop District Bazaar is a food and lifestyle bazaar that promotes local, micro, small, and/ or start-up businesses that highlight the online shopping community. This year, the bazaar is organizing an exclusive meet and greet with a featured influencer from Manila as well as a haul of brand-new and pre-loved items from the local community and celebrities.)
On Sunday, the entire day will be dedicated to the “celebration of the Bisaya identity, orientation, and expression with modern Visayan music as its centerpiece; highlighting the best of Bisaya artistry, and marking the diversity of milestones of its progress as a local community,” stated the event description.
Artists and celebrities to be featured during the music festival include Kami Norte, Medyo Maldito, Zhalia, Jacky Chang, Kurt Fick, Von Saw, Raphiel Shannon, Malaya Macaraeg, Carlisle, Route 83, Oh! Caraga, David Wilde, Lourdes Maglinte, Jerika Teodoriko, Young Kael x Jom Ouano, Maka Girls, Jane Abaday x Winset Jacot, Intertwined, Vincent Eco, Mary Anchit, Pain in the Neck, Mampor & Me, Zach & Zeph Buenavista, Rapollo, Almost Poets Society, Wonggoys, Mandaue Nights, Junior Kilat and Urbandub.
