Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Grenadine
This may be the lipstick for people who love the look of lipstick, but hate how heavy some lipsticks feel. This is not a tinted lip balm since it’s not as emollient as a balm, but more of a sheer lipstick. But it’s still comfortable and softening, thanks to vitamins E and C and beeswax. Grenadine is described as “a deep magenta” on the Bobbi Brown website, but on me, it’s a soft reddish berry color. One layer leaves the prettiest “just bitten” effect with a weightless, semi matte finish. If you love how natural lip stains look but can’t be bothered with the liquid mess, try this one instead. It’s pretty much impossible to mess up.
Innisfree No Sebum mineral powder
I know a lot of people swear by this little green tub, but it honestly took me this long—about a year since I bought it—to appreciate this product. This has rave reviews for being great at oil control without appearing cakey or powdery, while still being affordable. I didn’t really like it until I tried using more of the product per application. As it turns out, I was just not using quite enough product before. Now I love it for setting makeup and controlling oil on my T-zone. The powder is white but disappears when patted in, and leaves a soft velvet finish that doesn’t cling to my pores.
Keratin Plus Brazilian hair treatment
I got a sachet of this product as a freebie during one fun run that I joined. On first use I felt it was too sticky, but I halved the amount in succeeding uses and found that it really helps tame the frizz and weird kinks in my wavy hair, without sacrificing volume. I purchased more at Metro Ayala supermarket for an amazing P36 per sachet; I haven’t seen it in bottled form yet. On my mid-length hair, each sachet lasts me about 10 uses.
