PRO 7 orders investigation on drug suspect’s network

-

The top police official in Central Visayas has ordered an investigation on the network of a suspected big-time drug personality who yielded P11 million worth of “shabu” during a raid in Tagbilaran City, Bohol last Wednesday night.

Chief Supt. Debold Sinas, Police Regional Office 7 director, said that suspect Joseph Horcerada Alburadora had been identified as a level two target, supplying illegal drugs to several pushers in Bohol.

Nine drug suspects, including a tourist guide, were also caught in separate operations in Negros Oriental and Cebu in the past two days, yielding 176.93 grams of “shabu” worth P1.3 million.

In the Bohol drug raid, Sinas said the suspect’s supply may have reached Cebu and other provinces in the region as Bohol has several exit points, including seaports.

The Bohol drug bust was part of the one-time, big-time operations in Bohol yesterday.

Alburadora’s name surfaced after the arrests of pushers Geoffrey Silao and Paul Christian Culpa last month. The two admitted they sourced their supply from Alburadora.

The suspect yielded 935 grams of “shabu” to the operatives of Bohol Provincial Police Office Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Regional Special Operations Group, Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit 5, Provincial Mobile Force Company and Special Weapons and Tactics.

At past 6 a.m. yesterday, tourist guide Jocelyn Villegas was arrested in a raid by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 7 and Negros Oriental PDEU in Purok Malinawon, Barangay Talay, Dumaguete City.

The suspect yielded 150 grams of “shabu” worth P1 million.

Four hours earlier, Cebu PDEU led by Senior Insp. Alejandro Batobalonos caught Jomar Lopez Panilagao, 47, and Jocelyn Doble, 32, in a drug bust in Talisay City.

Seized from the suspects were 26.28 grams of shabu worth P310,104. /
