ASILO CALLS ON KIN TO CLAIM GIRL, 5
Parents’ failure to appear before Asilo de la Milagrosa, an accredited child-caring agency, within a month will subject the child to abandonment proceedings
Yve Heulidicy Quidlat, also known as Yully, has been without family for three years. She is now five years old, turning six on Nov. 28.
She was left by her birth mother at the Asilo de la Milagrosa on Oct. 13, 2015.
Born at the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City to Ivy Rodriguez Quidlat, Yully’s last known address is Barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City. Yully’s father is unknown.
Yully is fair skinned, of medium build and of normal health.
The Asilo de la Milagrosa is a licensed and accredited child-caring agency dedicated to the service of babies, toddlers, children and youth whose families are unable to care for them due to death, sickness, poverty and other social situations. Asilo hopes that Yully’s parents and immediate relatives will be able to appear before the Asilo office.
Parents and relatives may look for social worker Risa Johanna Neri from Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or call (032) 232-2443.
“Failure to come to Asilo de la Milagrosa within one month, beginning today, would mean declaration of the child’s abandonment for adoption through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) pursuant to Republic Act 9523 (An act requiring certification of the DSWD to declare a ‘child legally available for adoption’).”
