Suzuki gives 16 vehicles to ‘Bantay’ programs
Suzuki Philippines Inc. upholds its commitment of improving the lives of Filipinos nationwide by working yet again with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation Inc. wherein Suzuki donated 16 vehicle units for use in two of the foundation’s flagship programs: Bantay Bata 163 and Bantay Kalikasan.
The donated vehicles consist of two Super Carry utility vans and 14 A-X4 motorcycles. The Suzuki multi-function utility automobiles and two units of motorcycles will support the operations of Bantay Bata Children’s Village and Bantay Kalikasan headquarters at the La Mesa Eco Park. The remaining 12 A-X4s will be used in Bantay Kalikasan regional sites around the country such as Laguna, Romblon, Palawan, Samar, Leyte, Iloilo, Davao and Saranggani.
The Bantay Bata 163 program oversees and protects children’s rights and well-being while Bantay Kalikasan promotes sustainability and environment management.
“We’re very proud and honored to be part of another ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation project that seeks to give back and contribute to the development of our nation and its citizens. As we face more complicated challenges today, we need more than ever to take collective action to ensure a bright future for our youth and to drive the nation forward. As such, we encourage everyone to join us and support this meaningful campaign,” said Suzuki president Hiroshi Suzuki.
