Dole 7 launches search for best HR practices in Bohol
The Best Human Resources (HR) practices of companies done beyond what the labor laws require deserve not only applause but also due recognition, said Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) 7 Director Johnson G. Cañete in a statement.
Cañete said that Dole 7 will start recognizing companies demonstrating the best HR practices in Bohol, in coordination with the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council of Bohol (TIPC-Bohol).
For the first time in the region, the TIPC-Bohol launched the Search for Best HR Practices, which is expected to get involvement and participation from the council’s member-establishments, especially those operating in the hotel, resort, restaurant and tourism industry and from other key players in the province.
“Beyond compliance is actually the objective of this search, and we are hoping to get as many entries and nominations as possible from our partners. This is a very laudable initiative of the Council, which we hope would also be replicated by other TIPCs and industry tripartite councilors in Region 7,” said Cañete.
Dole-Bohol Director Lilia A. Estillore said that the search envisions to recognize establishments with the following awards: Best in Hiring, Recruitment and Placement; Best in Compensation and Benefits; Best in Occupational Safety and Health; and Best in Post-Employment/ Retirement Package.
