-

Celebrating its sixth founding anniversary, OrmocDoc gives back to the community through its largest medical mission with more than 700 beneficiaries last Oct. 28 at the Ormoc Doctors Hospital Atrium.

A total of 189 patients were given free dental check, cleaning and extraction, and 200 patients were checked and given reading glasses by Cebu Doctors’ University volunteers. Simultaneously, another 199 patients were seen by CebuDoc’s resident ophthalmology doctors, and 186 patients were checked for Capillary Blood Sugar, Blood Typing and Blood Pressure. As needed, free medicines were also given to beneficiaries.

“We are grateful that OrmocDoc provides opportunities like this, especially for us who are less fortunate who cannot usually afford dental services,” one of the beneficiaries said in Bisaya.

OrmocDoc, as a member of CebuDoc Group of Hospitals, is similarly dedicated to providing patients with utmost compassion, quality service and innova- tive healthcare.

CebuDoc Group chairman Dr. Potenciano “Yong” S.D. Larrazabal III, during his anniversary message for OrmocDoc, said the medical facility is positioned to be the finest hospital in Ormoc and Leyte, as the hospital continues to upgrade its facilities and offer highly specialized services in the coming years.

I feel good every time I am able to help other people, and it gives me satisfaction that somehow I am able to make a difference in this world. MA. CHOLA LOURDES MENDOZA
