Wherever, whenever: Sunpride launches Premium Corned Beef in ‘easy open can’
Filipino feasts are now better and tastier as homegrown Sunpride Foods Inc. (SFI) launched its Premium Corned Beef in an easy open can last Nov. 17 at Sugbo Mercado in Cebu IT Park.
Forty seven years in the business, Sunpride introduced another appetizing product its fans will surely love: Sunpride Premium Corned Beef. Made from pure, tender meat with imported spices and no extenders added, this juicy and meaty offering bursts with flavor, guaranteeing a savory meal.
Staying true to SFI’s tagline “Life Is Definitely Tastier,” the purely and proudly Cebuano company made it easier for its patrons to enjoy the taste of this premium product “Wherever, Whenever”—whether one’s at the beach, on top of a mountain or even on a road trip—because it is in an “easy open can.”
“I believe that the industry is evolving. Everything is made premium and we want to do the same. We want to offer a premium product with good quality yet affordable for everyone to enjoy. Our experience in producing processed foods since 1971 helped us come up with this premium corned beef,” said SFI marketing manager, Don Hanley Wong.
“And with today’s fast-paced life, we wanted to create something that will make the consumers’ life more convenient. That’s why we put it in an easy open can,” he said.
During the launch, Sugbo Mercado-goers and invited guests were in for a treat. Sunpride distributed free samples of Sunpride Premium Corned Beef, hosted a live cooking show starring celebrity chef JM Bercede— who gave some ideas on how to enjoy Sunpride Premium Corned beef more, and showcased live performances by talented local artists featuring Wonggoys, Sinulog Idol Shenahia Postrero and YouTube star Raphiel Shannon. The night was also filled with games and exciting prizes.
