Lite Properties invests in Corella, Bohol

Seeing continued growth and potential in Bohol, homegrown developer Lite Properties Corp. is pouring more investments in key areas.

Its latest project, Corella Homes, is a mid-range and economic housing development located just outside the bustling capital of Tagbilaran City.

Lucio Lim Jr., president and chief executive officer of Lite Properties, said that they want to help the Municipality of Corella enhance its economic activities through the project, which broke ground last March 8.

“This is going to be our biggest project. This is a landmark project for us,” he said in a speech during the groundbreaking ceremony.

Corella Homes is located on a 25,000-square-meter property along the highway in Barangay Poblacion. It is about seven kilometers away from Tagbilaran City, 7.2 kilometers away from the Integrated Bus Terminal and 7.5 kilometers away from a mall and the Tagbilaran City Hall.

Although very near the city center, the location of Corella Homes boasts of a getaway for its future homeowners. The site is surrounded by trees and lush greenery, which are a welcome respite from the fast-paced urban scene.

Lim said that based on their discussion with Corella Mayor Jose Nicanor Tocmo, the munic- ipal government wants to limit the number of housing developments to preserve the environment of the town.

“Corella has a nice environment. Corella is a nice name. That is why we did not call the project by another name. We called it Corella Homes because we are proud of your name,” said Lim to a crowd, which included municipal officials, barangay officials, government agency representatives, brokers, agents and other guests.

Once completed, Corella Homes will have 209 housing units. It will also have five units of commercial spaces.

The developer is still finishing the fencing of the property and will soon start accepting unit reservations through its sales and marketing office located at the third floor of the Lite Port Center in Tagbilaran City.

Corella Homes is the second housing project of Lite Properties in Bohol. Its first project is the Lirio Residences in Barangay Booy, Tagbilaran City, which has 31 mid market housing units, an exclusive gated community beside the old airport.

Aside from Bohol, Lite Properties also has other developments located in Cebu. These include Lucena Homes in Minglanilla and Luciana Residences in Cordova.
