FROM walking the bustling streets to hopping from one district to another, there’s always something that will make your head turn when you visit Hong Kong. Whether you’re traveling solo, with a partner, a group of friends or with the family, Hong Kong is a display of all things fascinating. The mix of sights and sounds will surely spark your curiosity and joy, taking you on a journey that teaches you how to figure out what it is you want to see, feel and experience for yourself.

Plan a trip now, and let the city speak for itself.

Fun stops

Start the day with a trip to Ocean Park Hong Kong. This destination is a must-visit, perhaps even essential, in bringing out your inner child! Built for fun, adventure and conservation, the world-class theme park is packed with activities and attractions. Imagine: interactive encounters with animals (thinks dolphins and pandas!), heart-pumping, hair-raising thrill rides (rollercoasters, anyone?) and a vintage cultural stop that takes you all the way back to the ‘50s. When all corners have been explored, end the tour drifting through beautiful landscapes aboard Ocean Park’s cable cars.

Another theme park to check out is Noah’s Ark, located on Ma Wan island, between Lantau Island and Tsing Yi. Here, you get to marvel at the first-ever full-size replica of the ark mentioned in the popular story in the Bible. Explore the ark and learn more about animals, and treat yourself to enriching activities and attractions, all within a picturesque setting.

Breathtaking views

For a visual feast, you should hop on one of the gondolas of the Hong Kong Observation Wheel for an unobstructed bird’s eye view of the Victoria Harbour. Feel the breeze atop a 60-meter-high ride located at the Central District. While you’re in that part of town, visit the Victoria Harbour waterfront and see Hong Kong Island right before your eyes, while discovering the handprints of celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry at the Avenue of Stars.

By night time, look forward to “A Symphony of Lights,” a stunning multi-media light show with skyscrapers on both ends of the harbor illuminating the night sky to the music of a grand orchestra.

The past, present and future

From seeing the city from a broader perspective, delve deeper into its busy streets and walk along for more places to unearth.

Come across remnants of old Hong Kong with The Mills; once the home of garment manufacturing in the ‘60s, now turned into a cultural and design hub open for re-invention. Within its halls lies the Cha Duk Chang Children’s Cantonese Opera Association Ltd (CDC), where children can learn Cantonese Opera and Chinese culture through their participation on its workshops.
