The all-new Accent was launched in Cebu last March 8 at The Gallery of Ayala Center Cebu together with three other models: the Reina & Kona (both brand-new lines), and the new generation of the Santa Fe.
The fifth generation Hyundai Accent features the South Korean car manufacturer’s signature Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design. The sleek lines and svelte contouring of the exterior gives the vehicle a stylishly sporty look.
Reinforced with ultra high-tensile strength steel, the durable yet lightweight material provides the Accent robustness without affecting its driving performance.
The Accent comes with either a 1.6 liter CRDi diesel or gasoline engine, and 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
The latest model provides more space and comfort for its five passengers with enhanced interiors that include ergonomic seats.
Motor-driven power steering, controls, vehicle stats, and a 3.8” LCD Display Radio with Radio Date System are strategically located for the driver to operate with ease. Windows and side mirrors are also power-controlled.
Although compact in size, there is a spacious trunk for larger items like luggage or equipment. As with most vehicles, the Accent comes with dual front SRS airbags for safety.
Colors available are Sleek Silver, Bronze, Crystal White, Phantom Black, and Veloster Red.
