PROMIL FOUR HELPS CREATIVE CHILDREN IMPROVE THEIR TALENTS

-

PROMIL FOUR launched its i-Shine Talent Camp nationwide, staying true to its mission of nurturing children's talents.

The interactive workshops were aimed to enhance the creativity of children in the fields of art, dance, theater and music.

The Cebu leg of Promil i-Shine 7 Art Camp happened on April 8-12. It was hosted by Jumping-Clay Cebu, a children's activity and educational franchise specializing in 3D Clay Art Programs.

Robert Alejandro, an acclaimed painter, craftsman and graphic artist with Cebuano roots, was the Art Camp mentor.

He introduced campers to various crafts during five days of artistic learning. He was assisted by Jumping-Clay instructors.

A variety of learning activities were laid throughout the duration of the event.

The first day of camp gave kids a creative warm-up exercise by letting them design imaginary creatures. These designs were then used by campers for their clay-sculpting activity, bringing their designs to tangible objects.

On the second day, campers discovered sea creatures. Images of these critters were then placed on print by the kids with the help of their teachers.

The third day brought a buzz as the campers were introduced to entomology, learning about insects before making replicas with various paper materials and storing them in collection boxes.

The fourth day had the campers appreciate their place. Using recyclable materials and paint, the kids managed to make a colorful diorama of Cebu.

On the fifth and last day, the campers held their first-ever art exhibit, showcasing their works. The event started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony together with an inspiring speech from their teacher, Robert.

The kids then led their parents inside the venue to show their works. The day ended with the proud parents and their kid-artists feeling satisfied.

This summer, Jumping-Clay Cebu is offering lots of fun-filled learning workshops where kids can have fun while enhancing their creative-thinking skills.
