AS A destination of wonderful experiences for families and friends, Gardens by the Bay makes dreams come true by immersing young visitors into the colorful world of upcoming film “Toy Story 4” at its annual Children’s Festival.

Held from June 15 to 30, this year’s Children’s Festival by Gardens by the Bay is made possible as part of the three-year collaboration between the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia (Disney).

With free admission for all visitors, Children’s Festival 2019 will see the transformation of Supertree Grove into a colorful carnival filled with family-friendly games and activities, inspired by Buzz, Woody and the gang in an all-new “Toy Story” adventure. Some of the experiences festival-goers can expect include Star Adventurer, where young visitors can race in self-driving cars in order to recharge Buzz Lightyear; and Bo Peep’s Adventure, a fun obstacle course for children to test their speed, agility and endurance.

To top it off, the Festival will feature the first-ever “Toy Story 4” themed marble run track in Singapore. Happening twice every hour, visitors can gaze up to two of the Supertrees and follow the 1.5-meter-wide marble as it weaves around the towering structures and travels along the track that spans approximately 150 meters.

The day ends on a magical note with a special “Toy Story 4” inspired-edition of the Garden Rhapsody, a signature light and music show by Gardens by the Bay.

“The annual ‘Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay’ invites families and friends to spend quality bonding time together as we transform the Supertree Grove into a wondrous play land. This year, we are delighted to bring characters from the well-loved animated feature film to the Gardens for everyone to enjoy for free,” said Ong Chui Leng, senior director for programming at Gardens by the Bay.

“We are delighted to support this year’s Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay. Children’s Festival 2019 promises to be better than ever with various Disney/Pixar-themed activities that visitors of all ages can look forward to. We’re confident that the third year of our collaboration with Disney will continue to excite visitors across different interest points, and enhance our appeal as a global entertainment destination,” said Carrie Kwik, executive director, attractions, entertainment and tourism concept development, STB. /
