FatBoys Media Production: Bigger than you imagined

-

THE big fat boys (and girls) have finally arrived! Armed with big dreams and fat creativity, FatBoys Media Production aims to capture the hearts of homegrown and local businesses and entrepreneurs in Cebu. There’s more to the team than its quirky name.

How the boys became fat FatBoys started with a group of friends who wanted to make a difference in the local homegrown music scene. In 2014, they created the music video for “Balay ni Mayang” to help the song compete with others in the national category.

In the middle of production, the team joined a 48-hour shootout competition. During the registration, they got lost with the production name. Because they were mostly fat boys, the name FatBoys came into being. It was only in October 2018 that they became a full-fledged business. With a little nudge from a mentor, Kurt Diores Fick, its chief executive officer, propelled the little team into the real world.

From video to content From being a humble video production company, the team evolved into content production bringing end-to-end-to-end marketing solutions to businesses. This made them into a one-stopshop when it came to marketing content. Their goal was to create seamless content across different platforms.

The team is made up of young creatives from varying industries and backgrounds. With this unique mix of theatre, music, design and art, they create interesting content that are easily raw, fun and true to any kind of branding.

Don’t let their age fool you. The team’s members have an accumulated experience of more than 10 years in their respective industries. With this, they create bigger visions from small ideas. Everything is laid out; The team takes pride in making it work. No is never an answer. They produce different kinds of videos, write film scores, cover events, manage social media, create graphics, and more. They make everything bigger than you imagined. /
