BAGUIO CITY
• Along with eastern Samar and eastern Surigao, has the greatest amount of rainfall in the country.
• Eight degrees cooler (on average) than any place in the lowlands.
• Also referred to as “The City of Flowers” with the Panagbenga or Baguio Flower Festival held every February since 1995.
• Designated Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) since 2017.
