But the truth is, we’re just in Mandaue City, Cebu. Yup, we’re specifically at Rue in Meerea High Street, along Ouano Ave., Reclamation Area, Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Rue started out as a humble after-work bar, where millennials and young professionals would hang out. Now, voila! With an approximate investment of P18M, the Mendoza family transformed the bar into a full-fledged restaurant, with its signature drink, Caramel Beer—the foundation of its success!
Since then, many beer flavors have been added: Peach, Lychee, Roasted Hazelnut, Cucumber, Watermelon, Toffeenut, and more! What to pair them off? Sumptuously good six-hour roast beef, sisig nachos, juicy ribs, beef birria, Rockefeller oysters, Buffalo chicken tenders and thin crust pizzas.
Indeed, Rue has made its mark on the food and drink districts of Metro Manila, focusing on providing unforgettable experiences with six branches all over the metropolis: Fort Bonifacio, Salcedo-Makati, BF Homes Parañaque, Ortigas, Tomas Morato-Quezon City and Eastwood, Quezon City.
The seventh, in Mandaue, is the first outside Metro Manila, and the first franchise in the Visayas-Mindanao region.
Rue seats 130 people, with choices of dining indoors or al fresco. They have an area for exclusive events, like KTV that accommodates 10-12 persons. The place is open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. from Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. every Friday and Saturday.
