Bus catches fire in Davao del Sur

STA. CRUZ - The local police here confirmed that all 46 passengers who were on board the Mindanao Star Bus Inc. ( formerly known as Weena Express) were immediately evacuated after a fire broke out inside its engine while traversing the DavaoCotabato National Highway in Barangay Bato here on Tuesday afternoon.

Chief Insp. Robert Caroa, chief of the Sta. Cruz police, said that all passengers were safe from the incident.
