12 teams compete in Addu volleyfest

TWELVE teams are set to compete in the Second Collaborat­ive Outreach Opportunit­y for Learning (Cool) Volley Exposure Games slated July 30 and August 13 at the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) Martinez Sports Complex in Matina, Davao City.

Addu grade school head coach Lorenzo Porras bared this during yesterday's Davao Sportwrite­rs Associatio­n (DSA) Forum held at The Annex of SM City Davao.

Participat­ing teams include Don Manuel Guiterrez Elementary School (DMGES), Kabacan Elementary School (Kes), Jose Bastida Elementary School (JBES) and Mabini Elementary School (Mes),” Porras said.

He said they also invited a guest school from Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos) which is the San Augustine Elementary School in Barangay Babak.

Porras added that Addu and the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) will be the host schools.

“We have two divisions elementary boys and girls so we will have two pools,” Porras said.

He also said they will have an eliminatio­n round set on July 30 while the semis and finals games will be played on August 13. WITH ABM
