The victim was identified as Jacky Lou Gentiles Gange, 32, a teacher at Calasan de Davao Academy in Barangay Talomo while the suspect was identified as Armando Carcueva Gange, an employee of a softdrink company.

Initial investigation conducted by Toril police showed that the incident happened at around 4 p.m. after the couple engaged in a heated argument as soon as they arrived home from their respective work.

Armando, according to witnesses, accused his wife having an illicit affair with another man.

According to the neighbors, a commotion ensued and they heard Jacky shouting for help that prompted a neighbor to seek help from others.

Armando then hurriedly left their house.

Gange's neighbor April Rose Palgan then checked the house of the couple and saw Jacky lying on the floor bathed in her own
