AlDub wins big at PEP List Year 3
MANILA Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards proved that they are still the hottest names in show business after receiving numerous trophies at the PEP List Year 3 Awards Night.
Held Sunday evening at the Grand Ballroom of Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, the event was organized by the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) and recognizes the outstanding names and performances in showbiz for the past year.
Richards and Mendoza, famously known as AlDub, took home the Female and Male TV Star of the Year awards, Newsmaker of the Year trophy, and the Celebrity Pair of the Year title.
Separately, Mendoza was hailed Female Breakout Star of the Year while Richards' PEPTalk episode was hailed the best.
Aside from the two, Kapamilya Teen King and Queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo took home the Female and Male Movie Star of the Year trophies.
Bernardo was also awarded the Female Teen Star of the Year.
Meanwhile, hit primetime series "On the Wings of Love" also took home several awards, including Best Primetime Series of the Year and Teleserye Supporting Actress of the Year for Cherry Pie Picache.
