Dalayon tenpin champion Jonzlibs paces Kadayawan meet

DAVAO Tenpin Bowlers Associatio­n (Datba) president Rene Dalayon emerged champion in the Datba weekly tournament held at the NCCC Mall B3 Bowling Center lanes Tuesday evening.

JONZLIBS paced the ongoing 31st Kadayawan SBC Open Bowling Tournament 2016 after two games at the Fairlanes Bowling Center, Davao City Tuesday evening.

Jonzlibs struck for a total of 1,167 pinfalls in the Sunday Bowlers Club-organized event that drew 20 teams. A-Team bowlers garnered 1,080 pinfalls for second and Emp (1,058) was third.

Rounding up the top eight were Diagold Pawnshop (1,039), Homer (1,021), Sassy (1,020), and Commission on Elections (Comelec) official Toto Delfin who placed second and third, respective­ly. Nierra scored 797 while Delfin had 770.

Dalayon received P700 while Nierra got P400 and Delfin took home P200, respective­ly. Sarabia Bowlers (1,010) and Mighty Bowlers (995).

Cash prizes await winners with the champion taking home P12,000 while the next three placers will receive P9,000, P7,000 and P5,000.

Individual winners will also claim special prizes in the bowlfest presented by the city government of Davao through the Sports Developmen­t Division of City Mayor's Office.

The tournament will resume tonight.
