A colossal edifice for modern Davaoeños

A COLOSSAL EDIFICE FOR MODERN DAVAOEÑOS

- BY RHEALYN C. POJAS

A GIANT will soon rise from the rubbles.

A 37-storey mixed-use residential and commercial project is pushing its way in Davao City, making it the tallest building in the metropolis once it is completed. The project, now known as the Vivaldi Residences Davao, is handled by Euro Towers International, Inc. which is known for its focus in creating high quality residential projects.

The company is the first to use Holographic Building Models for presentation and aside from that, clients who wish to inquire and see the units will enjoy a tour inside the building through a virtual reality gear. This virtual experience allows clients to see the actual designs for themselves and tour the area through their high-tech gadgetsthese are just among the pile of firsts that the company is offering.

“Through the virtual reality [experience], we can get to immediately correct the flaw we can see from the structure. So there is a potential for the constructors to improve immediately,” said Maricar J. Encarnacion, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Euro Towers, in a press conference at their sales office at the 3rd level of SM Lanang Premier.

Its name, Vivaldi, was taken from a famous Italian Baroque composer, priest, and virtuoso violinist Antonio Lucio Vivaldi who was born in Venice in 1678.

Why would modern Davaoeños choose Vivaldi Residences? There are more reasons why.

The soon-to-be tallest edifice in Davao City will be rooted in front of Ateneo de Davao University which is just along C.M. Recto and Magsaysay St. What makes this information interesting? You might ask. Well, that just translates to 90% direct access to almost all institutions and business establishments necessary for modern living. If that is still a very generic info then let me be very specific by citing that the site is close to public transport terminals and is just a walking distance away from schools, just near malls like GMall and Abreeza, hospitals, parks, places of worship, and banks, among others.

It also possesses a European architectural design and offers features that just suit well to modern living as it is intention-

ally designed to fit well to the clients’ preference.

Its standard amenities will further wow the would-be clients because of its rooftop Sky Pool where one can chill out while dipping into cool water and enjoying the scenic view of the city. It will also hold laundry and study rooms, a viewing deck, children’s playground, fitness areas, and a host of multi-purpose function rooms- qualities that all types of persons are looking for.

The infrastructure will have Studio rooms measuring 16-24 sqm and 1-bedroom units measuring 26-37 sqm. All of these units have functional kitchen area with built-in cabinets and their bathrooms are furnished with standard fixtures and fittings. The design will be done in such a way that will emit hotel-like ambience with its “grand ground floor lobby and drop-off area.”

The company also did not miss to set aside the safety and security of the would-be residents as they have make sure that the edifice will be resilient as it will have the deepest bored pile foundation in Mindanao with 59 meters depth. Aside from that, the building also offers high-speed elevators, centralized fire protection, smoke detection, paging, and CCTV systems with 24-hour building security.

If there is one thing that will prove that the features of the building are quite enticing to the Davaoeños then that would be the figure bared by Euro Towers during a presscon that they have already sold a total of 704 units out of a total of 878 units.

During the press conference, the company bared that there are only 164 units left for those who would like to be a resident of the building.

“We are blessed with a range of 30 to 60 year-old clients who are mostly from Davao and 30% [of these] are from Davao’s neighboring places,” Encarnacion said.

For those who are eyeing to be one of the building’s residents, you may visit Euro Towers’ sales office at the 3rd level of SM Lanang Premier which is open every Mondays to Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For inquiries and reservations, they are just a dial away through these digits 2851111.
