Is Sarah Geronimo back for ‘DoReMi’ with Yeng and Rachelle Ann?

-

After months of hiatus, Kapamilya star Sarah Geronimo is finally back. Is she now ready to do a project with Yeng Constantino and Rachelle Ann Go?

In April this year, it was announced that the 28-year-old pop star will no longer be part of “The Voice Kids” since she wanted to focus on her responsibility as a performer of the Kapamilya Network’s Sunday variety show “ASAP.”

However, many fans noticed that she eventually left the weekend program as well. And that was when the pregnancy rumors started to swirl.

With her coming out and granting the Philippine Entertainment Portal an interview on Tuesday, she somehow proved that she is not heavy with a baby bump.

As she is set to make a comeback, Sarah hinted that she is already prepared for new challenges and projects.

“Yes, 100 percent na. Yung mindset ko is mas energized, mas motivated to work harder,” she narrated. “Kasi, dumarating din ako sa stage ng buhay natin, like yung sinabi ko kanina, ano ba yung purpose ko bakit ko ito ginagawa, ano pa yung kulang.”

“Then, I realized na you don't do this or you don't work for other people, to please them or para mapuno ang concert venue mo or maging super hit lahat ng songs mo,” the girlfriend of Matteo Guidicelli added. “Hindi, e. Ang pinakaimportante pala sa lahat, ang main goal mo is to share whatever you have.”

When asked about her other plans, the Popstar Princess revealed that she wants to do more outreach activities.

“Gusto ko pang ma-experience na umakyat ng bundok and makita yung mga kababayan natin dun, yung culture nating mga Pilipino kung paano ba talaga, and yung lifestyle nila,” she quipped. “At saka kung anuman yung nalalaman ko ay sana maibahagi ko doon.”

She even continued saying, “Makapagbigay lang ako ng entertainment sa mga bata doon, siguro malaking fulfillment na yun.”

Since the “Very Special Love” actress is now ready to be in the limelight once again, some fans are speculating that one of her future projects could be with Yeng and Rachelle Ann, her former “ASAP” colleagues, especially when the latter suggested it in her latest Instagram post.

“’DoReMi’ remake? What you think? Hmmm. I love these ladies so much," Rachelle Ann posted along with their reunion photo.

“DoReMi” was the 1996 musical comedy movie of Donna Cruz, Regine Velasquez and Mikee Cojuanco.

Do you think the former Kapamilya singing trio, popularly known as Y.R.S., would be the most fitting stars to the remake? ### For comments and suggestions, please feel free to reach me at mendoza.jennygrace@ gmail.com.
