- BY CHRISTINE JOICE C. CUDIS

REGUS, the global workplace provider, has opened its first center in Mindanao and by far the biggest in the country, on Sept. 8 in Davao City.

Country manager Lars Wittig said with Davao City’s promising economy, their company participates with the influx of investors here as “it is the time to invest and grow with the city and the region.”

The company’s Davao footprint partner is Damosa Land, Inc., the real estate arm of Anflo Management and Investment Corp.

“We are bringing in the biggest Regus center here, that's how bullish we are for Davao. We are betting very big on this project,” Damosa Land vice president Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo said.

He said allowing the Regus expansion here is like giving an office space solution to the Davao market.

“We feel going forward, this is a good solution for people who are not sure, who, where they want to invest in Davao and how long do they want to invest in the city and how many seats in the company they need, Regus presence here is the solution to that,” Lagdameo said.

He said the company's investment in Davao will help "catapult the city to a higher level of growth and development" and put it on the investors' map.

Regus Davao Center is at the fourth floor of DLI's Topaz Tower housing 350 workstations.
